Dessa

To the slack-jawed surprise of her parents, Dessa is a rapper. She is also an essayist (creative nonfiction) and dabbles in short stories. Her first CD, False Hopes, is available at Cheapo, The Fifth Element and out of her backpack. She reps Doomtree and drinks RonDiaz with anyone willing to listen. Dessa performed opening night, Friday September 23rd @ 10pm. She was pretty good.

Fitzgerald

Nathan and Mandy Tensen-Woolery are the husband and wife duo behind Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald performed Saturday, September 24th @ 10pm and Thursday, September 29th at 9:30pm. They were decent.

The Get Up Johns

The Get Up Johns are Jake Hyer on fiddle and mandolin and Josh Wenck on guitar. Their repertoire includes old-time mountain tunes, country blues, bluegrass standards, original songs and ample doses of disarming charm. The Get Up Johns performed Friday, September 30th @10pm. Everybody really liked these guys.
